Breakfast with Café 8.98, Ao Nang

On a boiling hot day and after a sweaty bus ride (traveller life), I was lucky enough to stumble upon Café 8.98.

Free coffee for #nationalcoffee day, what a treat! It turned out to be one of those comfy spots were I didn’t move for hours. I was drooling over all the vegan options on the menu but I had indulged in far too many pad thai’s that day.

Without hesitation, I marched straight there the next morning. I ordered two dishes (don’t judge me, this gal can EAT!). I got chatting to the lovely manager Saara while I waited and we laughed about coping in the heat.

My food arrived (stop reading now if your on an empty stomach)…thick, homemade bread with a generous dollop of hummus, was the perfect base for smashed pumpkin, drenched in a seriously, sensational + tangy pesto, crunchy pumpkin + pine nuts and topped of nicely with silky enoki mushrooms! I then moved on to dish number two, an explosion of fruity, sweet crunch and nuttiness…The mango smoothie bowl didn’t last long! I couldn’t resist the fresh and juicy vibes that danced on my tongue! These two delights, washed down nicely with a smoooooth coconut matcha latte.

Café 8.98 was the vegan breaky of my dreams and I didn’t want it to end!

As if things couldn’t get any better, Saara went on to tell me how Café 8.98 use bio degradable straws, takeaway containers and trash bags! They are also part of the #trash hero refillable bottle campaign… LEGENDS!

If you’re in Ao Nang or Krabi Town you HAVE to visit Café 8.98 for this amazing foodie experience and guilt free food!

Lots of Love
